RAPTOR / REVOLUTION
PHILOSOPHY
Non-Profit
The River City Raptors Soccer Club is a 501(c)
non-profit organization covered by IRS regulations.
Contributions to the organization are tax deductible
under the Internal Revenue Service code.
Mission Statement
The mission of the River City Raptors Soccer Club
is to provide a learning, nurturing, loving,
competitive environment to develop soccer knowledge
and skills. This will be achieved by instilling a
“family first” atmosphere within the club which
includes the players, coaches, families and our
community.
Philosophy
The purpose of the
RIVER CITY RAPTORS SOCCER CLUB is to
identify female youth soccer players in the
individual age groups U8 to U18 in the North Alabama
area who are able and interested in developing their
soccer skills to a high level.
Our goal is to then
develop each player’s technical, tactical,
psychological, and physical abilities, through
training and classroom sessions, as well as match
and tournament participation. Our first
responsibility is the health and safety of our
athletes. Secondary responsibilities include the
development of the youth athletes as soccer players
as well as individuals. We believe the development
of ethics and character in our players is as
important as their soccer talents.
We strive to provide
programs which meet the needs of its players, and to
provide opportunities to all youth, regardless of
gender, ethnicity or financial constraints and to
instill the love of the game, good sportsmanship,
and the standards of team play.
In providing higher level
club soccer
for
female athletes, it is the intent of the River City
Raptors Soccer Club to raise the level of soccer
participation in North Alabama at all levels, from
Recreational to the Olympic Development Program.
